International Baccalaureate
IB Program to Be Discontinued聽
The International Baccalaureate will be discontinued effective June 2027.
The June 2027 effective date will allow all existing students to complete the program, but no new students will be admitted to the program. IB is currently offered at Cobourg Collegiate Institute in Cobourg, and Kenner Collegiate Vocational Institute in Peterborough.
The decision to discontinue the program is based on a number of key considerations, including equity of access, costs to students, retention and graduation rates, and budget considerations.
